Formlabs in Somerville, MA is seeking an Engineering Technician to contribute across the development of next-generation 3D printers. You will prototype, fabricate, and test systems from concept to hardware release, with hands-on electrical and mechanical work hours at the Somerville HQ.

You will inspect parts, perform board-level rework, and create cabling while documenting results. This role emphasizes independent, proactive problem solving and collaboration across engineering functions.

As an Engineering Technician, you will work across all our engineering functions, and get your hands on every part of the development process from the first idea to the final machine. You will be responsible for prototyping, building, and testing systems that will go into future generations of our 3D printers.

This position will have on-site expectations of 5x/week in our Somerville, MA HQ office.

The Job

Base pay is the other part of our compensation package, and it is carefully determined based on your skills, experience, and expected impact. Equity and base pay combine to make up your total compensation package at Formlabs.

The annual base pay range for this role is: $65,000 - $115,000 USD
