A civil engineering firm is seeking an Engineering Technician to assist in preparing design drawings and manage various civil site projects. Ideal candidates will possess strong knowledge in AutoCAD Civil 3D and have extensive experience in both commercial and municipal developments. Qualifications

Requirements

Engineering Technicians assist in the preparation of design drawings, plans, specifications, supporting documents and permit applications for a variety of civil site / land development / water / wastewater projects including commercial, industrial, and municipal projects and a variety of permitting. They use computer assisted engineering and design software to prepare engineering and design drawings and documents on a regular basis and assist in the preparation of reports, maps, drawings, tests, and aerial photographs to plan and design projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school/GED diploma and 10 years of experience or an Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and 8 years related experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and experience designing residential, commercial and industrial sites preferred
• Municipal experience preferred
• Proficiency in commonly used computer software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid driver's license.
