Job summary

Safariland, LLC is seeking an Engineering Technician to support the engineering team in developing and improving armor manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and products. • Assist with troubleshooting production issues related to processes, equipment, tooling, and product performance.
• Maintain engineering documentation including work instructions, drawings, specifications, and test records.
• Build prototypes and engineering samples for product development, customer demonstrations, and testing activities.
• Perform functional testing and evaluations of materials, components, fixtures, and equipment.
• Assist with design changes and drawing revisions.
• Work directly with production teams to implement engineering improvements.
• Assist with equipment modifications, tooling improvements, and fixture development.
• Identify opportunities for safety, quality, efficiency, and cost improvements.
• Support engineering projects through task completion, scheduling support, and documentation.
