Oratomic is hiring engineering technicians to participate in designing, building, and operating fault-tolerant neutral-atom quantum computers. You will work in a tight-knit team across lasers, optics, vacuum, electronics, and mechanics, closely aligned with quantum hardware groups to assemble and operate subsystems.
Prior experience with lasers or optics is desirable but not required, and we are hiring across all experience levels as we scale toward utility-scale qubits. Caltech/Harvard spinout.
Oratomic is on a mission to build the world's first fault-tolerant quantum computer. We are actively hiring engineering technicians to take part in designing, building, and operating fault-tolerant neutral atom quantum computers. You will work in a tight-knit team, working across hardware (lasers, optics, vacuum, electronics, mechanical), integrated closely with quantum hardware teams. You will be directly building the quantum computer and its subsystems. Prior experience in lasers and optics are desirable but not required. We are hiring across all experience levels.
Posted base pay is $150,000 - $250,000 a year.
Caltech/Harvard spinout developing fault-tolerant neutral-atom quantum computing with highly efficient error correction targeting utility scale at ~10,000 qubits.
