Job summary

SEWS—El Paso Customer Service Center (Eastside) seeks an Engineering Technician to support the QA wire harness department, perform harness inspections, TDI analysis, and reworks per prints and customer specs to maintain product quality.

The role involves preparing analysis reports on samples, assisting with training external inspectors, and flexibility to travel to Mexico and the US for audits and support assignments.

Qualifications

• HS or GED required.
• 0-1 years of engineering experience.
• 1 year as quality technician or similar.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with computer office software preferred.
• Must be fluent in written and spoken English / Spanish.
• Experience with problem solving methodologies.
• Experience in drawing and schematics reading preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support QA wire harness inspections and audits.
• Inspect harnesses per prints and perform TDI analysis.
• Ensure quality control systems and inspection standards are met.
• Rework and repair harnesses per prints and customer specs.
• Prepare analysis reports of samples (components and finished goods).
• Travel flexibly to Mexico and the US as needed.
• Any other activity assigned by supervisor.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Support and confirm customer audits
• Inspection of harnesses against print from dimensions to TDI analysis
• Assure critical points quality, quality control system and inspection standard.
• Rework and repair of harnesses using prints and customer specifications to ensure the quality of the product is maintained
• Prepare analysis reports of samples (components and finished goods)
• Any other additional activity assigned by the supervisor
• Flexibility to travel to Mexico and US

Qualifications

• Education: HS or GED
• Experience (Total Career not just SEWS): 0-1 years engineering experience
• 1 year as quality technician or similar
• Experience in a manufacturing environment desired
• Experience with computer office software desired
• Must be fluent in written and spoken English / Spanish
• Experience with problem solving methodologies.
• Experience in drawing and schematics reading desired
