We have multiple openings for an Engineering Technical Supervisor to lead multi-disciplinary teams of technologists supporting S300 firing operations. You will be an administrative supervisor and have technical responsibilities in support of Weapons Physics Programs and S300 firing operations. You will be responsible for personnel actions involving employees including selection, performance evaluations, salary recommendations, promotions and corrective actions. You will regularly interact with NSED division leadership, program managers, diagnostic leads, project engineers and scientists. This position is in the National Security Engineering Division (NSED) within the Engineering Directorate.
These positions will be filled at either level based on knowledge and related experience as assessed by the hiring team. Additional job responsibilities (outlined below) will be assigned at the higher level.
These positions require full-time on-site presence due to the nature of the work.
$137,790 - $204,216 Annually
$137,790 - $168,732 Annually for the 390.1 level
$166,740 - $204,216 Annually for the 390.2 level

This is a Career Indefinite position, open to Lab employees and external candidates.
Site 300 is an experimental test site operated by LLNL. Situated on 7,000 acres in rural foothills approximately six miles southwest of downtown Tracy and 15 miles southeast of Livermore, Site 300 hosts approximately 200 employees with expertise in such fields as engineering, chemistry, biology, and environmental restoration. Employees assigned to work at Site 300 may be exposed to the organism that causes San Joaquin Valley Fever (coccidioidomycosis).
This position requires an active Department of Energy (DOE) Q-level clearance or active Top Secret clearance issued by another U.S. government agency at time of hire.
