Job summary

PCL Construction Services, Inc. in Florida is offering an Engineering/Technical Student position within the Florida Buildings Group district (Orlando, Tampa, Naples, Jacksonville, and South Florida).

You will gain hands-on experience on real projects while contributing to field and project activities. You will work with Field/Project Engineers, Project Managers and Superintendents, assist with safety and quality audits, read drawings, log submittals, RFIs and prepare reports, and help with

• Conduct safety audits and quality audits.
• Read and understand drawings and specifications
• Log submittals, process RFIs and prepare reports
• Assist with surveying and project layout
• Maintain and update field drawings, field equipment and records
• Assist with coordinating subcontractors, vendors and field staff
• Coordinate material deliveries and documentation
• Attend relevant project meetings
• Prepare memos, letters, meeting minutes, contracts, and other forms and documents
• Assist with project documentation requirements

Responsibilities

Join us as a Engineering/Technical Student for our Florida Buildings Group district, within our US Buildings sector for 4 or 8 months starting May 2027 Depending on your assigned project as a Engineering/Technical Student, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:
