Job summary

Ecolab is offering an Engineering Technical Sales Intern program for Summer 2027. This 11-week paid internship combines hands-on field training with classroom lessons as you learn to identify solutions that save energy and water and support customers' sustainability goals.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate engineering degree (Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, or Industrial).
• Must have a valid US driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Immigration sponsorship not available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Complete an independent project to yield ROI.
• Complete safety training and technical lessons for water treatment applications.
• Observe and participate in service to customers, ensuring proper chemical application and documentation.
• Complete introductory training of the consultative sales approach.
• Visit multiple customer sites regionally (40-100% in field) to learn best practices.
• Build key relationships with departments and personnel critical to field success.
• Provide routine service support to Sales Representative.
