Beauty Manufacturing Solutions Corp. is seeking an Engineering Supervisor - Training/Set Up to lead the development and deployment of the Machine Operator Training Program, Line Trial coordination, and line-set-up efficiency improvements.

This role guides cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and processes for operator performance enhancements. The ideal candidate has a mechanical or electrical engineering background with 3+ years in leadership roles and experience in industrial

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical/electrical engineering preferred or extensive applicable experience in a related role.
• Industrial manufacturing experience required.
• Three years of experience in a leadership role training and/or supervising training of associates.
• Ability to operate effectively in the use of business tools including computers, e-mail, and applicable software applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervises development and monitors efficacy, implementation, and control of the Machine Operator Training Program.
• Supervises planning, coordination, and execution of all initial and continuous developmental training for Machine Operators.
• Supervises the Line Trial team and ensures set-up sheets are created prior to first production.
• Supervises planning and execution of machine set-up sheet accuracy and efficacy.
• Supervises downtime reduction activities to optimize equipment uptime, safety, and environmental performance.
• Ensures adherence to safety policies including LOTO, hot work, confined spaces, and use of powered industrial machines.
• Participates in machine wear parts preparation and administration.
• Develops and supervises manufacturing equipment maintenance reliability programs.
• Monitors operations and recommends efficiency improvements.
• Reviews set-up requirements and product impact of changes on manufacturing lines.
• Collaborates with Commercialization to design equipment modifications by product/packaging types.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager - Training/Set-Up.
