WEC Energy Group is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of engineers and support staff on complex projects within the gas distribution/transmission domain.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, project forecasting, cost control, and coordination of design criteria, schedules, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years' experience with gas distribution and/or transmission system design, planning and cost estimating.
• 5+ years' experience using standard computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.

Responsabilidades

• Technical responsibility for planning, developing, interpreting, organizing and executing complex engineering projects.
• Lead projects while managing forecasting, cost control and timely completion.
• Plan work activity schedules, resource allocation and prioritization of activities.
• Develop scope of work, design criteria and selection of outside service providers.
• Oversee engineering design, prepare/approve construction and material specifications, monitor budgets and supervise contractors.

Job Summary

The Engineering Supervisor leads a team of engineers and support staff on complex engineering projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Technical responsibility for planning, developing, interpreting, organizing, coordinating and executing a variety of projects that are complex in nature and require the application of engineering and project management skills.
• Lead projects while managing forecasting, cost control, and ensure timely completion.
• Plan work activity schedules, resource allocation, prioritization of activities, etc.
• Develop scope of work, design criteria and selection of outside service providers.
• Perform other department work as needed including, engineering design, preparing and/or approving construction and material specifications, monitoring project budgets and overseeing the work of contractors.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years' standard computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• 5+ years' relevant experience with gas distribution and/or transmission system design, planning, and cost estimating.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience being responsible for the completion or management of tasks as a part of a project.
• 5+ years' experience working with and understanding related codes (Title 49 CFR 192, PSC 135, API, ASTM, MSS, etc.)
• 5+ years' experience with technical gas operations, experience in transmission line construction processes (welding, tapping, hydro test, purging, tie-ins, etc.) and/or distribution system processes.
• 5+ years' experience with specialty computer applications, applications such as GIS, SynerGee Gas.

Pay Range Minimum: $104,083.72

Pay Range Maximum: $156,125.32

The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
