Job summary

Zachry Group is offering a Summer Hire internship positioned within its engineering team. The program focuses on hands-on tasks, leadership development, and opportunities to advance through mentorship and real project work.

Interns will complete department tasks, perform discipline-specific calculations, and support proposal work, with relocation for both internship and potential full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited Engineering program.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Junior or Senior (preferred).
• GPA 3.0 (preferred).
• Interest in leadership and personal development opportunities.
• Willingness to relocate for internship and future opportunities.

Functions are routine engineering and construction tasks within their department and on assigned projects. In addition to gaining knowledge from daily tasks and projects, candidates will also be given opportunities throughout the summer to develop their soft skills and take on leadership roles.

Requirements

Physical Demands

Employee will be required to communicate in person, via telephone, email, use of arm/hand steadiness, manual dexterity, finger dexterity, multi limb coordination, oral expression, and comprehension.
