HVAC TechnicianLocation: Sunset, South CarolinaDepartment: MaintenanceReports to: Director of FacilitiesEmployment status: Full-timeClassification: Hourly, non-exemptPosition SummaryThe HVAC Technician maintains and repairs heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and commercial refrigeration systems at Old Edwards Reserve at Lake Keowee. This position also performs general building maintenance to support safe, reliable facilities and a welcoming environment for members, guests, and employees.Essential Job FunctionsInspect, troubleshoot, service, and repair HVAC equipment and commercial refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers and freezers.Perform preventive maintenance and equipment testing to minimize downtime and identify potential problems before they interrupt operations.Disassemble, clean, inspect, repair, and replace components such as fan motors, dampers, valves, belts, and related parts.Monitor airflow, indoor and outdoor temperatures, and equipment controls. Recommend adjustments or repairs to the Maintenance Manager.Diagnose and repair thermostats, sensors, controls, and system components associated with building automation, as applicable.Complete work orders and maintenance records, documenting findings, repairs, parts used, and follow-up needs.
