Job Title: Engineering Scientist – Upstream Manufacturing

Location: Andover, MA

We’re seeking an Engineering Scientist with hands-on experience in Upstream Manufacturing to support biologics production, particularly monoclonal antibodies. In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, MSAT, R&D, and QA teams to optimize upstream processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and optimize bioreactors and upstream unit operations
• Utilize PAT tools and support automation integration for batch record management
• Support process sampling, analysis, and documentation
• Contribute to Process Performance Qualification (PPQ) activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure process alignment

Requirements:

• Strong background in upstream manufacturing
• Bioreactor and cell culture/fermentation experience
• Familiarity with PAT tools and automation systems
• Experience with in-process sampling and data capture

Preferred:

• Experience with monoclonal antibody production
