Job summary

Ameren Illinois is seeking an Engineering Representative Step 1 to engineer and design facilities delivering electric and natural gas service. You will initiate and complete jobs using company systems and coordinate construction and engineering services as the primary customer contact.

The role emphasizes customer satisfaction and collaboration with the Operating Center, while completing the required training program and passing each module test.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Algebra or higher with a grade of C or above required.
• DC/AC electricity courses or the equivalent from an accredited institution required.
• 1 year experience working with electricity may be considered in lieu of DC/AC courses.
• If selected, applicants will be asked to provide transcripts.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and design facilities to provide electric and natural gas service; initiate and complete jobs using company systems.
• Evaluate new business projects for revenue, costs, and customer contributions; coordinate construction and engineering services as primary customer contact.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and stakeholders; support operating center and focus on customer satisfaction.
• Complete the Engineering Representative Training Program and pass module tests.
• Field incoming/outgoing customer calls and capture project details.
