Job summary

R. F. MacDonald Co. is seeking a Project Manager / Engineer to plan, design and execute complex boiler, piping and power systems projects.

The role emphasizes on-time delivery, budget control and customer focus, coordinating between sales, engineering and field teams. You will develop drawings with AutoCAD, review submittals, manage schedules, travel as needed, and support system commissioning. A bachelor’s in ME or related field plus 5+ years of project management experience is preferred;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ME, or related discipline preferred.
• 5 years’ experience in project management/estimating.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Solid Works, Excel, Visio and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist sales to design and develop specifications and drawings for projects including industrial and power systems.
• Prepare estimates and proposal packages, including material and labor costs.
• Develop construction drawings and project documentation; review submittals for compliance.
• Support project execution to maintain schedule, budget and design integrity.
• Travel as needed for customer sites and project coordination.
• Provide after-sales support and assist with commissioning and startup.
