Job summary

A leading healthcare/pharmaceutical firm is seeking a Project Manager I (Engineering) for a 12+ month onsite contract in Chattanooga, TN. This role involves project engineering, leading engineering metrics, and championing safety objectives. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering and over 5 years of project management experience. The position offers a competitive pay range of $47-$57/hour, along with employee benefits including health insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management, process design, manufacturing, and contractor supervision.
• Proven track record developing and executing major, complex projects (over $1MM).
• Experience in Food or Pharma manufacturing following FDA regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, establish budgets, develop schedules and coordinate resources for project delivery.
• Drive results in Engineering metrics and own KPIs.
• Champion Safety objectives; strive for zero incidents within the teams.

Skills

Project engineering including design, procurement, construction management

2D/3D CAD experience (AutoCAD or Solidworks)

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Mechanical aptitude & Critical Thinking Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical)

Project Management Professional Certification
