Job summary

Solenis seeks a Project Manager / Site Engineer to lead capital projects at the Chicopee, MA site and support activities at Huntingdon Valley, PA. The role requires a BS in engineering and 5+ years in chemical/industrial manufacturing.

Responsibilities include managing capex up to $5M, developing scopes, and maintaining the site capital budget with a strong emphasis on safety and project execution. Opportunities for growth and cross-site support.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering and 5+ years of manufacturing experience in chemical/industrial operations.
• Capital project management experience, including projects over $1M.
• Familiarity with engineering codes and standards; proficient with MS Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing multiple ongoing growth and cost-saving projects.
• Manage projects at site up to $5 million with internal/external teams for capex execution.
• Primary responsibilities at Chicopee, MA and Huntingdon Valley, PA with ability to support other sites.
• Develop project scope definition and lead execution.
• Support plant manager with annual capex planning.
• Maintain overall capital budget for the site.
• Safety and compliance are top priorities for the Project Manager role.
• Identify schedule risks and mitigation opportunities through schedule analysis.
• Provide technical plant support to responsible sites and for membrane process at Chicopee.

Responsibilities

• The primary responsibilities will be to the Chicopee, MA site and Huntingdon Valley, PA site with the ability to support other sites as needed.
• Develop project scope definition and lead project execution.

• Fundamental belief and demonstrated behaviors that safety & compliance is one of the most critical aspects to the Project Manager role.
• Responsible for identifying potential schedule risks, risk mitigation and improvement opportunities through analysis of the overall construction schedule, as well as schedules provided by the individual contractors, which are incorporated into the overall schedule.
• Provide technical plant support to responsible sites.
• Provide engineering support and qualifications for the membrane process at the Chicopee site.

Qualifications

• You have a BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
• You have 5+ years of manufacturing experience in a chemical and/or industrial operation.
• You have experience with Capital Project Management experience - including projects > 1M.
• You have familiarity with engineering codes and standards.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite and SAP experience.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $93,530.00 and $137,181.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
