Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time completion of assigned projects within cost and quality objectives.
• Manage scope changes with all vendors, customers and ABCO; negotiate additional funds or resolutions.
• Meet or exceed budget margins by planning and executing project work and supervising team members.
• Develop and administer project schedules considering introduction, production, outside contractors and delivery dates.
• Coordinate with other ABCO departments to engineer, manufacture and coordinate projects.
• Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, vendors and contractors to meet expectations.
• Lead project team with direction, coordination, and motivation for successful execution.

ABCO Automation is searching for an Engineering Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical engineering or physics degree dur to the nature of the our custom designed projects. This role plans schedules, coordinates detailed phases of projects and monitors budget for both revenue and hours billed.

• Assures the on-time completion of assigned projects within cost and quality objectives.
• Manages scope changes or project/business changes with all vendors, customers and ABCO. Leads the project negotiations of additional funds or resolutions of project issues.
• Meets or exceeds budget margins by effectively planning and executing assigned project work and supervising the work of team members to effectively plan and execute their project work.
• Develops and administers project(s) schedules based on each project's introduction, production process, outside contractors, equipment availability and delivery date.
• Interfaces directly and effectively with other departments at ABCO to engineer, manufacture and coordinate projects.
• Communicates effectively with customers, suppliers, vendors and contractors to ensure project expectations are met.
• Leads Project Team by providing the overall direction, coordination, and motivation to ensure successful execution of projects.
