We seek a dedicated and proactiveindividual to join our Plant Engineering Department as an EngineeringProject Field Technician. This role is vital in managing capital projectsand process improvements across OSCO’s manufacturing plants in Portsmouth, NewBoston, and Jackson. The ideal candidate will be an integral team member indeveloping and implementing industrial projects, following through on all workrequired for completion. This position offers an exciting opportunity tocontribute to the success of our manufacturing operations within a dynamic andinnovative company.

Duties
  • Project Planning: Integrate ideas, process needs, and equipment into comprehensive, generally accepted project plans.
  • Design & Estimation: Provide cost estimates, justifications, and designs for required industrial systems and equipment.
  • Installation Coordination: Provide direction for drawings and quotations, while coordinating with suppliers, contractors, and internal personnel to ensure timely installation.
  • Field Work: Perform hands-on work within the manufacturing environment, including taking field measurements and collecting data for as-built drawings.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain Engineering drawings (CAD files) and Plant Engineering files.
  • Equipment Support: Assist in the start-up of new equipment and develop parts lists and maintenance direction documents.
  • Relationship Management: Generate and maintain professional relationships with contractors, suppliers, and equipment builders.
  • Future Planning: Collaborate with OSCO personnel to anticipate industry trends, positioning current projects to meet the company’s long‑term goals.
Requirements
Education

Minimum of a two (2) year Associate Degree in Applied Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
