Job summary

EDAG in Dearborn is seeking a Program Manager-Engineering Operations to lead program tracking, reporting, and cross-functional coordination across engineering, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing.

The role emphasizes detailed part release tracking, ECR/ECM processing, and real-time visibility into project progress using JIRA and Confluence. A strong background in manufacturing environments and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in program/project management, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment.
• Experience working in engineering development, automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with part release processes, engineering change management, and product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.
• Knowledge of Agile or Stage-Gate development processes.
• Knowledge of JIRA or Confluence
• English (C1-C2)
• 1 year contract

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain detailed tracking of part releases, engineering changes, and material certifications.
• Develop and update program timing charts, status dashboards, and health reports using JIRA and Confluence.
• Identify risks, delays, and dependencies early; communicate impacts and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
• Create and manage program boards, workflows, and dashboards to monitor engineering deliverables.
• Coordinate between engineering, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure alignment on milestones and deliverables.
• Prepare concise executive summaries, timing updates, and program health metrics for leadership reviews.
