Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • Solid understanding of system architecture and design trade-offs; testing, build and release processes for complex software.
  • 6+ years of project management in software development, ML or related industry experience.
  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, distinguish urgent from important and defend tradeoffs.
  • Experience leading and shipping multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Experience driving features that involve integration with multiple teams.
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.

Join our team and contribute to the development of Apple Intelligence across the entire Siri ecosystem.We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Program Manager with a proven track record of developing and maintaining complex software platforms, tools, and processes that deliver innovative, end-to-end experiences that cater to customer satisfaction. The Siri User Experience team collaborates with hardware and software partners to deliver groundbreaking Siri experiences across all platforms. We are seeking self-motivated individuals who possess the ability to get results within highly cross-functional teams.

Description

You will drive programs and/or projects, including leading feature definition, system architecture, timelines, milestones, and risk management to ensure an on-time delivery of features. This includes collaborating with multiple partner organizations and various disciplines such as Design, Engineering, and QA to deliver highly integrated experiences. Communication is essential. Providing clear, timely, concise, and objective communication, including regular program status updates, critical issues and mitigations, changes in plans, risks, and requests for action, will be necessary for success. As an EPM on the team, you are in a critical role in bringing together engineering, design, and other teams to ensure that the right discussions and decisions are made to build a great product.

Minimum Qualifications
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • Solid understanding of system architecture, design trade-offs with thorough understanding of testing, build and release processes for complex software.
  • 6+ years of project management in software development, machine learning or related industry experience.
  • Solid understanding of software development practices with the proven ability to navigate ambiguity, distinguish urgent from important and defend tradeoffs.
  • Prior experience and consistent track record leading and shipping multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Experience driving and delivering critical project features that involve integration with multiple different teams.
  • Proven ability to create and execute plans in ambiguous settings, identifying priorities and driving what matters.
  • Excellent communication and proven executive presentation skills.
  • Concise, well-structured written communication including status and summary of issues.
  • Articulate and facilitative in meetings, demonstrating the ability to reshape messaging for each audience including at the executive level.
  • Experience working cross functionally at different seniority levels.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with voice assistant technology.
  • Experience in delivering user-facing software features and driving full-stack development.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $144,600 and $263,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
