The Cranial & Spinal Technologies (CST) Operating Unit develops implant, instrumentation, biologics, navigation, robotic, and enabling technologies used in neurosurgical and spinal procedures. Within CST, the Spine New Product Introduction (NPI) organization partners with surgeons, clinical experts, commercial teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to develop and launch technologies that address degenerative, deformity, tumor, and trauma-related spinal conditions.
This position is based in Memphis, Tennessee, a Medtronic Spine hub location, and follows an onsite work model. Domestic travel up to 25% is expected, including customer visits, cadaver labs, field observations, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
The Engineering Program Manager, Spine NPI leads multiple new product development programs within the Cranial & Spinal Technologies portfolio. This role provides program leadership across cross-functional teams, translates surgeon and customer insights into development priorities, and drives execution from concept through commercial launch while ensuring alignment with technical, quality, regulatory, and business objectives.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$142,400.00 - $213,600.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range applies across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and certain locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns. Temporary employees are eligible for paid sick time, as required under applicable state law, and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
