Job summary

Atomic Machines is seeking a highly technical Engineering Program Manager to own the end-to-end program for its next device successor on the Matter Compiler platform. You will align engineering and manufacturing, drive evidence-based milestones, and shepherd requirements from lead customers through qualification and manufacturing scale-up.

You will manage a team of domain owners in device physics, fabrication, automation, and system integration, turning their work into certified, revenue-ready

Qualifications

• 8+ years spanning hands-on engineering and technical program leadership on complex multidisciplinary hardware.
• Track record of taking integrated hardware systems from concept through manufacturing release and commercial delivery.
• Deep technical fluency in at least one core engineering domain and productive command across the rest.
• Drive senior technical leads to deliver with clarity, structure, and pace, while direction stays with domain owners.
• Relentlessness in driving through ambiguity and turning requirements into scope and plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive the program roadmap end to end with goals, milestones, and evidence gates.
• Direct cross-functional execution across device physics, fabrication processes, automation, and system integration.
• Build and run the integrated plan connecting customer commitments, design maturity, process capability, and manufacturing readiness.
• Turn maturing customer requirements into committed, testable targets and hold the program to them.
• Own the qualification and certification path (e.g., UL/IEC) as a program commitment shaped into the design from day one.
• Deliver the outcome: device demonstrated, evaluated by lead customers, and qualified through production ramp.
