Apple's GGML group seeks an Engineering Project Manager to shape next‑gen products such as Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Vision Pro. You will manage GPU and Display software projects, and coordinate across multiple engineering groups to ensure successful development and delivery.

Qualifications

  • BS/MS in EE/CS/CE or related technical field.

  • Establishing, managing and communicating program feature plans, investigations, escalations, and drive technical risks to resolution.
  • Identifying and highlighting technical risk areas and mitigation strategies with subject matter experts.
  • Maintaining and influencing a multi-year roadmap of products and planned GPU & Display feature implementation.
  • Driving continuous improvements and increased efficiency across program management processes.

The Graphics, Gaming and Machine Learning (GGML) group is looking for Engineering Project Manager to help shape our next generation products like the Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Vision Pro etc. You'll be responsible for managing the GPU and Display Software Engineering projects for these products. You'll be leading communication between several engineering groups at Apple, and helping to define and run processes that ensure GPU & Display development for these products is successfully executed.

Description

Apple’s GGML group provides the graphics software foundation across all of Apple's innovative products, from iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch, to Apple TV, iTunes,Vision and Mac. As a key link between developers and our hardware, GGML drives the development of display, graphics drivers and provides frameworks and technologies that power the most advanced Games, GPU Compute, and Graphics Pro Apps across Apple platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Defining and tracking progress for our Product Software deliverables from early HW through launch.

Minimum Qualifications
  • BS/MS (EE/CS/CE), or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of program management experience in software, hardware, or systems engineering environments.
  • Strong technical acumen and the ability to align teams around architecture, milestones, and execution plans.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in CPU, GPU (Graphics HW, Graphics APIs like Metal) or exposure to Display technologies(eg: Color, HDR,..) experience is a strong plus.
  • Experience in introducing or having an understanding of HW into manufacturing, or high volume production is a huge plus.
  • Ability to dive deep on technical topics and abstract the right level of information into an actionable path forward with cross-functional consensus.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities.
