Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER Sector Integration division is seeking an Engineering Process Excellence Lead to strengthen engineering processes, data quality, and standard practices across CAD models, BOMs, drawings, and product structures. You will drive cross-functional improvements across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, and IT, with up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
Minimum three (3) years of engineering experience.
Minimum 1 year experience with CAD solid models and technical drawings related to electromechanical products, and leading or supporting a cross-functional engineering project, process improvement initiative, or engineering systems implementation.

Responsibilities

Develop and improve standard engineering processes for CAD models, drawings, Bills of Material (BOMs), engineering changes, and product releases.
Establish and promote engineering data quality standards across teams and locations.
Improve the flow, consistency, and integrity of engineering information throughout the product lifecycle.
Lead engineering data integrity and process improvement initiatives across multiple teams and locations.
Establish project priorities, governance, metrics, and implementation plans.
Identify and resolve recurring process issues through data analysis, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
