Job summary

Apple seeks an experienced Manager to lead Engineering Project Management for the Build Health and Availability Team in Cupertino. You will shape strategy, coach a high-performing team of Engineering Project Managers and Engineering Program Specialists, and drive reliability for internal software builds and asset delivery across Apple’s ecosystem.

You will balance technical depth with people leadership, partner with cross-functional groups, and navigate large-scale infrastructure modernization

Qualifications

• BS/MS EE/CS/CE or equivalent.
• 5+ years of management experience leading project management or technical operations teams.
• Strong background in software development, build systems, or release engineering.
• Proven track record of scaling teams and processes in fast-paced technology environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Engineering Project Managers and Engineering Program Specialists focused on build health, internal software availability, mobile assets, and factory asset delivery.
• Drive strategic planning and continuously improve processes for build health monitoring, internal software deployment availability, and asset delivery optimization.
• Ensure operational excellence through proactive system health monitoring, capacity planning, and performance optimization across all asset types.
• Foster innovation in tooling, automation, and process improvements to enhance engineering experience and asset delivery efficiency.
• Coordinate complex initiatives involving multiple engineering teams, factory operations, and mobile asset stakeholders.
• Develop team capabilities through coaching, performance management, and career development planning.
• Lead organizational change management during platform transitions and infrastructure modernization efforts.
