The Planning Technician supports engineering activities such as design, modification, and manages activities for a specific product or group of products from definition and planning through production. The selected candidate will work in various departments within the manufacturing facility during the first half year, gaining hands‑on experience. Following this, the employee will be trained to plan the manufacturing process and tooling instructions required to manufacture custom printed circuit boards.

Responsibilities

• Plan jobs using InPlan and In Solver applications to create production travelers for a PCB manufacturing plan.
• Complete controlled impedance stack‑ups, instruct CAM operators on all tooling requirements, answer technical questions from other departments, and effectively communicate with customers.
• Perform DFM (Design for Manufacturability) review on customer designs.
• Perform spec‑review and spec‑summary on all customer documents and/or industry standards.

Qualifications

• Preferred engineering degree or associate’s degree in engineering.
• Experience in planning, product engineering, and tooling in a PCB manufacturing environment and using a CAD/CAM system is helpful but not required.
• Must be a self‑starter and have excellent initiative.
• Must have very good verbal and written communication skills.

Salary & Benefits

Salary Range (annual): $45,760.00 – $56,160.00. Actual base pay within this range will be based on a candidate’s years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills. The total rewards package also includes health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a savings plan, company‑paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and personal business, and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
