Job summary

SRF Consulting Group, Inc. invites students to join our team as interns. Most internships are based from our headquarters in Minneapolis, MN, with opportunities at our Madison, WI office. This internship targets students exploring transportation-related disciplines including highway, bridge, traffic, and planning.

Interns may work up to 20 hours during the school year and up to 40 hours per week in the summer, with potential for full-time employment after graduation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Civil/Structural/Traffic Engineering, Biosystems Engineering (Hydrology/Water Resources emphasis), Transportation Planning, Urban/Regional Planning, or related program
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills are a plus
• Students with 1–3 semesters remaining to complete their degree are desired/preferred
• Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position

Responsibilities

• Support internship tasks across highway, municipal, and transportation planning projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and planners to analyze projects and prepare documentation.
• Gain exposure to ITS/CAV, environmental planning, and other transportation disciplines.
