Job summary

Medtronic is seeking engineers at multiple levels for opportunities across several operating units in Minneapolis. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree (by May 2026) with varying experience from 0+ years for Engineer I to 7+ years for Principal Engineer.

The company also recruits engineering managers, project/program managers, and distinguished engineers. We will review resumes ahead of the 2026 AISES National Conference and contact qualified candidates prior to the event.

Minimum Qualifications

• For Engineer I opportunities, we are looking for a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, completed by May 2026, with 0+ years of experience.
• Engineer II: Bachelor’s degree + 2 years of engineering experience or Master’s degree + 0 years of experience
• Senior Engineer: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of engineering experience or a Master’s degree and 2+ years of engineering experience
• Principal Engineer: Bachelor’s degree + a minimum of 7 years of engineering experience or a Master’s degree with 5+ years of engineering experience
• We are also recruiting for engineering functional managers, Project / Program Managers, and Distinguished Engineers (Director-level, individual contributor roles).
