Engineering Technicians are Amazon’s front line for hands‑on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting. They maintain, operate, and troubleshoot Data Center Operations Mission‑Critical Facilities – stand‑by diesel generators, fuel systems, three‑phase electrical systems (switchgear, UPSs, PDUs, wet‑cell batteries), mechanical/air‑conditioning equipment (CRAHU units, centrifugal chillers, cooling towers, water systems, air handlers, pumps, motors), cooling towers/water chemical systems, fire/life safety equipment, building automation, and general facilities equipment. AWS Infrastructure Services design, plan, and operate all AWS global infrastructure, keeping the cloud running.
You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers. You’ll collaborate across AWS to maintain the highest standards for safety and security while delivering capacity at the lowest possible cost, experiencing an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own projects to completion.
