Key Qualifications

• Strong WAN/LAN, Systems Administrator design and support.
• Ability to support Lab infrastructure (Routers, Switches, and Wireless).
• Knowledge in network topology, protocols, switch, and router setup.
• Support multi-functional engineering labs networking requirement.
• Hands on experience with basic scripting, shell command, MacOS, iOS, Linux and Windows.
• Ability to rack/stack networking gears (Cisco, Arista) and interact with Core Team to enable access points.
• Ability to work with internal team on build and test HW systems per specification.
• Detail & process oriented with good documentation skills.
• Good communication, organized skill and desire to learn new challenges.

Description

As an Engineering Network Admin on our Silicon Engineering team, you will be supporting Engineering labs network setup, validation and maintain network connectivity. Individual ability to plan and implement Cisco/non-Cisco gears for labs networks to support Apple IOS/MacOS testing and development. Maintain all lab networking gears, provide service requests, submit trouble tickets and unblock lab infrastructure connectivity. Provide feedback upgrade cycle on HW/Firmware. Working with SW/HW engineers to improve uptime. Secondary support backup for FPGA engineers with systems build, troubleshooting and sanity tests.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s and a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 and $256,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
