Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher with focus in Mathematics Education or Engineering Education.
• Experience teaching pre-calculus and calculus for Engineering majors.
• Formal graduate training in mathematics education research or engineering education research.
• Demonstrated use of active learning or mastery-based teaching practices; experience assessing mathematics curricula.

Responsibilities

• Teach approximately 16 contact hours per week across Applied Calculus sequences.
• Lead coordination and continual improvement of course content and assessment in Applied Calculus.
• Possibly teach additional courses aligned with elementary and secondary mathematics education.
• Engage in departmental, school, and institutional service and professional development.
