Those in software engineering at PwC will focus on developing innovative software solutions to drive digital transformation and enhance business performance. In this field, you will use your knowledge to design, code, and test cutting‑edge applications that revolutionise industries and deliver exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of software and product innovation initiatives, aligning engineering execution with client and firm strategy.
• Own engagement relationships, managing expectations and translating business objectives into product roadmaps and delivery plans.
• Direct cross‑functional teams in designing and building scalable solutions using modern languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#.NET) and application frameworks.
• Oversee enterprise application integration, APIs, and microservices architecture to enable interoperability and business agility.
• Institutionalise quality practices, including ATDD, code reviews, and adherence to coding standards.
• Drive CI/CD adoption to improve release velocity, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Lead rigorous business requirements analysis to confirm alignment with industry standards and engagement goals.
• Establish and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, estimates, commitments, and risk mitigation.
• Mentor and develop junior talent, elevating team capability in product strategy, engineering discipline, and project management.
• Champion innovative technologies and continuous improvement to enhance product performance, user experience, and business impact.

Requirements

• At least a Bachelor’s degree or, in lieu of a degree, demonstrating in addition to the minimum years of experience required for the role, three years of specialised training and/or progressively responsible work experience in Engineering Product Management for each missing year of college.
• At least 12 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies, along with completing PMP, CSM, and/or PRINCE2 certifications.
• Experience applying ATDD and CI/CD practices to improve software quality, release speed, and delivery predictability.
• Experience enabling seamless integration and scalable solutions with API management and microservices architecture.
• Demonstrated capability in business process improvement and management, aligning product execution to organisational goals.
• Financial acumen, including effective budget oversight and resource management across multiple initiatives.
• Data‑driven mindset with the ability to analyse metrics and translate insights into informed product and programme decisions.
• Proven ability to manage engagement relationships with a focus on service excellence and stakeholder alignment.
• Leadership capability to inspire and guide teams toward programme objectives, resolve conflicts, and sustain performance in dynamic environments.

Travel Requirements: Up to 40%

Salary range: $114,000–$132,000.
