General Atomics Integrated Intelligence Inc. (GA Intelligence) is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a backend and analytics software team. You will guide architecture, ensure reliable delivery, and mentor engineers to scale impact under demanding timelines.

You will partner with product and data science leaders, promoting a culture of continuous improvement while navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities in a mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in engineering or a related field with eleven or more years of progressively complex software engineering experience.
• 2+ years in a software engineering management role.
• Proven success leading an agile software team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong backend development and/or data analytics background.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a software team of 3-5 engineers focusing on performance and delivery.
• Drive accountability for timely, high-quality delivery and block removal.
• Provide technical oversight for scalable backend systems and analytics pipelines.
• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and other Engineering Managers to align goals and deliver value.
• Foster continuous learning and operational excellence across teams.
