Job summary

Boulevard Labs, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a 5-8 person engineering team building a scalable, user-centered self-care platform. You will balance technical leadership with people management to deliver impactful products.

You will partner with Product and Design to shape the team roadmap, drive architectural excellence, and foster an inclusive, high-performing, remote-friendly culture across time zones.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with 2+ years in people management.
• Proven ability to lead and develop engineering teams across disciplines.
• Strong architectural guidance and experience with agile delivery.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 5-8 engineers across various experience levels.
• Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development planning.
• Partner with Product Management and Design to define and deliver the team roadmap.
• Drive technical excellence through code reviews and architectural guidance.
• Build a high-performing team culture focused on collaboration and growth.
• Manage team delivery, removing blockers, and ensuring successful execution.
• Contribute to hiring, interviewing, and onboarding new team members.
• Participate in on-call rotation and lead incident response when needed.
• Balance hands-on technical contribution with team enablement.
