The Little Rock, AR area hosts a growing manufacturer in thin-gauge thermoforming seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee maintenance, facilities, and capital projects at the plant.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years leading a maintenance team, a plastics manufacturing background (thermoforming and extrusion a plus), and a collaborative leadership style. This hands-on role blends technical leadership with team mentoring and process improvement to drive reliability and performance.
A well-respected and growing company in thin gauge thermoforming is looking for anEngineeringManager. Located in the Little Rock region, this role will lead all things technical at the manufacturing plant: maintenance, facilities, and all engineering and capital project oversight.
As this role is not focused solely on engineering, the new leader must bring experience in leading and working in partnership with the maintenance organization. There are many ongoing efforts and needs and a primary one will be to assess, edit, and implement an improved preventive maintenance program.
Additionally, the organization is highly people and floor-focused, and therefore it is not a desk job. Investing time, effort, and energy into your team via coaching, mentoring, and providing improved systems and processes is an expectation. In short, the Plant Manager is looking for the right combo of being professional and also not afraid to get in the mix and actually get their hands dirty.
With multiple manufacturing sites across their footprint, this would provide a great opportunity to develop and grow beyond this role. It is a privately held company that continues to invest in its equipment and people!
