Job summary

Reddit is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Notifications Platform to lead a team responsible for building reliable, scalable platform capabilities powering push, email, and in-app notifications across Reddit experiences.

You will set technical direction for APIs, eventing, workflows, delivery pipelines, and observability, collaborating with ML teams and product partners to ensure safe, fast, and high-quality notification experiences at scale.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience building and managing engineering teams.
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or Engineering Manager building and operating large-scale distributed systems or platform services.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, service-oriented architectures, event-driven systems, and APIs in production; experience with notification, messaging, communications, or other high-volume delivery systems is a plus.
