Plaid’s Network Health team protects Plaid and our network from fraud and abuse, building risk platforms for detection, mitigation, and resolution across Plaid products.

As Engineering Manager for Network Health, you will lead a growing, highly technical team of engineers and data scientists, set long-term strategy, drive execution, and partner with product leaders to translate evolving fraud scenarios into technical priorities while remaining close to the work.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of industry experience, including time as a staff-level engineer before management.
• 2+ years of engineering management experience.
• Track record of setting strategy and executing roadmaps in ambiguous environments while balancing tradeoffs.
• Deep technical judgment in backend and data-intensive systems; comfortable with architecture and data analysis.
• Experience in risk engineering, fraud detection, abuse prevention, trust and safety, or related domain.
• Proven record of building and growing high-performing engineering teams.

Aufgaben

• Lead a team of engineers and embedded data scientists with clear goals, coaching, and feedback.
• Drive Network Health strategy and roadmap with Plaid's technical and product leaders.
• Uphold high technical quality and delivery velocity, leading by example.
• Dive hands-on into data and tech stack to guide technical decisions based on metrics and trends.
