We are seeking anEngineering Manager to lead and grow ourMechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Structural (MEP/S) design professional services in the Mid‑West region. This role will serve as a key liaison between our corporate Engineering Practice (based in Williamsville, NY) and operations in the Minneapolis and Eau Claire, WI offices.
This opportunity is open in our Minneapolis, MN and Eau Claire, WI offices.
You will focus on four primary areas of leadership:
Projects will include multi‑disciplinary facility design as well as innovative efforts in energy efficiency, electrification, and decarbonization. Responsibilities include proposal development, basis‑of‑design creation, project oversight, quality reviews, professional sealing of documents, team mentoring, recruiting, hiring, and expanding Wendel’s engineering presence in the Mid‑West.
This opportunity includes leading project teams, developing future engineering talent, long‑term career growth, and potential for firm ownership. We are seeking a strong engineering leader who can help us expand our national footprint, strengthen our capabilities, and grow our project portfolio.

$135,000 – $175,000

Salary offered will be determined based the successful candidates’ relevant education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The salary offered will also take into consideration regional adjustment factors.
