A leading provider of open-source software is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a distributed team and drive technical excellence in its flagship data-center product, MAAS. This role requires experience in high-quality software development and a deep familiarity with Linux. The candidate will also mentor team members and advocate for modern software development practices in a remote-first environment with opportunities for domestic and international travel.
Qualifications
Proven experience delivering software with Python, Go, or similar languages.
Experience with Linux system administration (Debian or Ubuntu preferred).
Familiarity with modern Linux cloud-computing technologies.
Responsibilities
Lead a distributed engineering team across Americas or EMEA time zones.
