This role focuses on execution, technical direction, and people leadership across Telematics Platform and Telematics Experience. Salary range is $168,000 - $220,000 with competitive bonus and equity, and Root supports work location flexibility across the US.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of engineers across Telematics Platform and Telematics Experience domains.
• Define and execute the technical direction and roadmap for the domain.
• Partner with Data Science, Pricing, Underwriting, and other stakeholders to align strategy with business goals.
• Ensure reliable delivery, scalable infrastructure, and a healthy, growing engineering organization.
