Job summary

nVent is seeking an Engineering Manager II to lead the site Engineering organization, spanning Mechanical and Electrical teams, to achieve and exceed annual targets.

You will prioritize resources, partner across functions in the ETO process, and balance engineering rigor with schedule flexibility to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering-related field or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience with 8+ years in leadership of technical teams.
• Experience in ETO engineering operations or technical program leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site Engineering organization (Mechanical and Electrical) to meet AOP targets.
• Prioritize engineering resources and initiatives across site functions.
• Collaborate with multiple functions in the ETO process to balance rigor, velocity, schedule and flexibility.
• Provide technical and strategic leadership aligned to long-term product architecture and business goals.
• Lead, coach, and mentor leadership within the building framework and power systems functions.
• Develop and maintain a training and onboarding program aligned to engineering standards.
• Coordinate offshore/contract resources to enable scalable capacity and consistent quality.
• Drive continuous improvement to exceed customer expectations and implement standard design practices.
