Job summary

Google Cloud seeks an experienced AI/ML software engineer to lead and mentor a team of engineers in Seattle, delivering enterprise-grade AI solutions. You will guide technical directions, refine workflows, and craft long-term roadmaps aligned with Google Cloud goals.

You will drive end-to-end program delivery from planning to release, coordinating with cross-functional teams and partners, while maintaining high standards of software engineering.

• 8 years of experience in software development are required.
• Experience in technical leadership, leading project teams, and setting technical direction is required.

Job description

• Baby Bonding Leave: 18 weeks

Responsibilities:

• Guide, mentor, and support a team of software engineers, fostering career growth and professional development. Foster a supportive, innovative, and collaborative team environment. Attract, hire, and onboard top engineering talent to grow the team.
• Refine development workflows to facilitate seamless collaboration and guide technical directions. Uphold software engineering best practices to build high-performing, scalable, and maintainable systems while continuously improving operational workflows.
• Equip the team with necessary tooling and processes for smooth execution. Craft strategic long-term roadmaps and visions aligned with overall organizational objectives.
• Drive full end-to-end program delivery, from initial planning through release. Partner with cross-functional and cross-organizational stakeholders to establish scope, define key milestones, assign resources, mitigate risks, and communicate progress.
• Establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships with key partner teams.
