Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is hiring an engineering manager for the Flex product team. This remote role oversees the Flex Billing & Backend engineers to extend features for customers and broaden the solution reach of Flex.

You’ll lead delivery of scalable distributed systems in cloud environments, promote agile practices, and ensure end-to-end service ownership from design through operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Experience leading software teams and managing multiple workstreams.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and modern programming languages (Java/Go).
• Proficient in containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus).

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver experiences for customers, guiding your team to success.
• Understand architecture and processes for always-available cloud services.
• Advocate for Agile, CI/CD, test automation, and reliability.
• Communicate clearly with product, architects, and engineers across the org.
