Job summary

The Consensus in Seattle, WA is seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead Otter’s analytics evolution. You will steer a cross-functional team of analytics engineers and frontend engineers, building a data foundation that supports live, AI-enabled insights from the data behind roughly 80% of US online restaurant orders.

You will own end-to-end analytics, from ingestion to serving, reinforce data governance, and ship high-performing products like the Analytics App and automated reports.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SQLMesh, dbt, and Cube.
• Experience building and scaling analytics pipelines for BI and AI use.
• Strong data governance, quality frameworks, and lineage practices.
• Delivery of data-driven analytics products in a B2B or consumer context.

Responsibilities

• Own Otter Insights End-to-End: lead pipelines, datasets, semantic models and customer analytics interfaces.
• Manage ingestion to serving: real-time and batch pipelines, robust APIs.
• Scale the semantic layer to keep metrics consistent across processing modes.
• Drive data governance and standards adoption across product teams.
