Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking an Engineering Manager for AI Developer Technology in the US. You will lead a team of engineers to accelerate real-world DL/ML workloads, optimize performance, and develop novel algorithms that leverage NVIDIA hardware.

You will drive strategic technical initiatives, collaborate with research, hardware, and software groups, and mentor a diverse team to achieve engineering excellence and impact across multiple AI domains.

Qualifications

• Must have MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of overall relevant experience, with 5+ years in a technical role and 3+ years in engineering leadership.
• Strong background in linear algebra and performance optimization for DL training and inference.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to optimize and develop ML/DL algorithms and workloads for NVIDIA platforms.
• Define and drive strategic technical initiatives for accelerated DL/ML applications.
• Collaborate with research, hardware, and software teams to influence next-generation hardware and programming models.
• Develop and communicate technical solutions, including design decisions and project plans, to collaborators.
• Hire and grow a diverse, high-caliber team; mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence.

As a key member of our AI DevTech team, you'll lead a team of highly skilled engineers accelerating end-to-end performance of real-world Deep Learning and Machine Learning applications and developing novel algorithms to optimally leverage Nvidia hardware. Application examples are Large Language Models (LLMs), Computer Vision, Speech, Recommender Systems, and Multimodal architectures. As a Developer Technology Manager, you'll define and lead strategic technical initiatives, setting short- and long-term goals for your team. You'll work closely with customers as well as NVIDIA Research, hardware, and software teams to drive innovation and advance the state-of-the-art in accelerated Deep Learning and Machine Learning.
