Job summary

Karman Space & Defense is seeking an Engineering Manager in Wilsonville, OR to lead the engineering team focused on machining processes and automated manufacturing. You will guide a team of engineers to deliver efficient, high-quality solutions that meet project objectives and timelines.

You should bring 10+ years in machining/manufacturing, strong leadership, and hands-on knowledge of machining technologies. Preference for aerospace/defense experience; MasterCAM and Vericut skills are desirable.

Salary Range: $120,000.00 To $140,000.00 Annually

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead engineering activities that drive the design, development, and optimization of machining processes and products in an automated manufacturing environment. You will guide a team of engineers to deliver high-quality, efficient solutions, collaborating across functions to meet project objectives and advance operational excellence.

Required Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or a similar discipline.
• Proficiency with MasterCAM and Vericut.
• Understanding of Development Integrated Master Schedules.
