The Amador Water Agency (AWA) is seeking a highly qualified Engineering Manager to plan, direct, and oversee the Agency’s engineering functions supporting water and wastewater infrastructure systems throughout Amador County. This position provides technical leadership and management of staff, consultants, and complex capital improvement projects essential to public health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and management of staff, consultants, and complex capital improvement projects across water and wastewater infrastructure systems.
• Serve as the designated engineer in charge, overseeing planning, design, construction, regulatory compliance, and budget administration for projects.
• Represent the Agency before the Board of Directors and external stakeholders while promoting innovation, efficiency, and high professional standards.
