Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.**Essential Functions:*** Provide leadership and management for product development and sustaining programs and activities* Lead initiatives to improve electrical engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and product quality.* Plan and manage the deployment of resources for multiple projects* Establish and monitor department budgets* Encourage and provide opportunities for continued relevant technical training* Provide technical assistance to Business Development to win new business and drive company growth* Provide the appropriate skill mix to sustain and grow the business and to meet customer requirements* Manage the design, development, and testing of electrical systems, components, and products to ensure compliance with industry standards (such as MIL-PRF-38534).* Develop, enhance and maintain a core team as well as an external network of consultants, contractors and suppliers to support product development* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the electrical engineering team, ensuring best practices in DC-DC design, power systems, and hybrid circuit technologies.* Identify and mitigate risks associated with electrical designs, including thermal management, electromagnetic interference (EMI), and radiation effects.* Lead initiatives to improve electrical engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and product quality.* Any other tasks assigned by supervisor or management**Eligibility Requirement:** This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information.
