The role offers broader technical and operational leadership beyond traditional project engineering, including site design, commissioning, validation, equipment startup, and a smooth transition to ongoing plant operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive engineering, capital projects, commissioning, or technical leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Strong technical foundation with broad manufacturing engineering knowledge.
• Experience managing capital projects, contractors, budgets, schedules, and startup activities.
• Exposure to maintenance, reliability, controls, process engineering, facilities, or plant operations.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities.
• Adaptable, hands-on, coachable, and eager to grow into broader operational leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Controls and Process Engineers
• Support commissioning, validation, FAT/SAT, startup, and project handoff
• Own the site CAPEX process following project handoff
• Oversee engineering support for facilities, utilities, maintenance, and reliability
• Establish engineering standards and Early Equipment Management processes
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, Sanitation, and IT/OT
• Manage capital projects from concept through installation, commissioning, and startup
• Help build the technical infrastructure and processes for a growing manufacturing site

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced engineer who wants to move beyond traditional project engineering and grow into a broader technical and operational leadership role. The position will play a key role in site design, construction, commissioning, validation, equipment startup, and the transition into ongoing plant operations.

Backgrounds of Interest:

• Food & beverage, CPG, pharmaceutical, oil & gas, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Greenfield, major expansion, equipment startup, TPM, Lean, EEM, automation, robotics, controls, thermal processing, filling, batching, or high-speed packaging experience is a strong plus.
